Reviews, reviews, reviews.

I'm still working on my Sherlock Series 3 Review, but while I'm working on it I thought I might put these reviews up;

THE LEGO MOVIE
This film was great. There were so many big names starring in it, and funnily enough my favourite character, the blue space guy, was voiced by Charlie Day and he plays my favourite character in Pacific Rim, Newton Geiszler.
I wasn't really sure what to expect from this film. A film all about lego...? Meh. It didn't sound that exciting. But I was proved wrong. It was very funny and different and... made of lego.
It's all about a normal lego guy, Emmett, who finds a special lego piece and becomes "the special one". He is whisked away from his home on an adventure to lead the master builders to the office of Lord Business to stop his evil weapon "the Kragle".
It was very funny, I must admit I didn't think it would be as good as it was.
It stars Morgan Freeman, Will Ferrall, Jonah Hill, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Neeson and Charlie Day. I would definitely recommend it.

ROBOCOP (2014 remake)
I absolutely love this film! I have a bit of a thing for robot and machine films; Iron Man, Pacific Rim, now Robocop. I really love them. I went to see the remake first before seeing the original, and I thought it was really good. It has everything; action, violence and robots. What more could you want?
It is based in Detroit, one of the most dangerous cities in America. Detroit is the last city to bring in the new robot officers and they want to know why. Not everyone thinks they are a good idea however, because these robots shoot anything and anyone they see as dangerous. So OCP decide to try something new; a robot that is half robot half man. When officer Alex Murphy is blown up in an attack on his life, he becomes the perfect test subject. Robocop, the ultimate crime fighter, is created.
I highly recommend it, definitely. It was fantastic.

ROBOCOP (1987 original)
This film was awesome. I loved everything about it. I also love the fact that there are 3 original Robocop films. The new film is sort of like a mixture of the original 1st and 2nd films. I was kind of disappointed when I saw that it was a different actor that plays Robocop in the 3rd film, I think it takes away from it a bit. Peter Weller will always be the original Robocop, but as it turns out the actor in the 3rd film is in Person of Interest so I guess he's alright then... Considering they're both pretty much the same film I don't exactly know why it is that I prefer the original, but there you have it. You should definitely watch the original, it's great.
