Well. That's awkward.

Awkward silences. I can't stand them! They don't agree with me. I have a compulsive need to fill awkward silences with random comments or facts to ease the tension. This tactic always backfires and what you end up with is an awkward rambling geek, that geek being me. This is why I'm especially atrocious at making friends.
a) I'm shy at the best of times.
b) I'm extremely self-concious.
c) I'm twitchy when I get nervous.
d) I'm a geek.
e) I hate awkward silences. Hate them.
This is why I'm surprised I even have any friends.
